Here’s a Google Hangout recorded live yesterday, featuring Vint Cerf, one of the ‘fathers’ of the Internet, talking about the new Internet Protocol, how we got to where we are today, and what the future holds.
The genesis of 6UK came with an invitation from the UK Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) early 2010 to a number of industry representatives to come together to form an organisation to promote IPv6 in the UK. BIS also provided a small amount of seed money.
