One month on, we can conclude by all accounts that the 6UK launch on 11th Nov 2010 was very well received. We garnered some great media coverage, and rather than repeating things here, why not check out some of the coverage of the day for yourself:

The presentations on the day are available here, and thanks to David Orban for whipping out his iPhone and recording the keynote by Vint:

The launch is set for 11th November 2010 in London, and you can find out more and then register your interest in attending here.

You will also be doing the IPv6 UK plc cause a favour if you share news of this event with your network, and begin following @6uk on Twitter. And FYI, and unsurprisingly, most commentary on Twitter on this matter has the hashtag #IPv6.

The event is intended to draw together leading Internet figures including Vint Cerf (often fondly referred to as the father of the Internet), the UK government and the media so that our message reaches out as effectively as possible to those who need to hear it.
